Planning For Change

I have Been reading this from about Change in "Go the Distance" By John Trent, and found this that is worth blogging. " As we seek to get some specific goals woven into our plan, we need to approach Him and say, " Lord, this is what I'd like to do to move closer to you. From everything  I can see and what I know of your word, it looks like a good plan. But if you want to change it,or scrap it all together, I acknowledge you have every right. And by the way... If you do it , I won't complain." Some Scriptures on planning Prov. 16:9 Luke 14:31 Prov. 21:5 James 4:13-15

Attitude Again

Your in-look, determines your outlook, your out look determines your outcome!

A Jewish Morning Prayer!

“You are the one (who existed) while the world was not yet created. You are the one from when the world was created. You are the one in this world, and You are the one in the world to come. Sanctify Your name by those who sanctify Your name, and sanctify Your name in Your world. And with Your salvation, raise up, and exalt our horn. Blessed are You, God, who sanctifies His name publicly.”

Preparing For the Kings Court

Lately I have been thinking a lot about prayer and How its functions in a child of God's life; As you may be aware, there are many theories and preferences in prayer, literary everyone has there own preferences in prayer, but prayer should not be complex, we are the ones who make it complex, we do so out of our physical, spiritual and emotional weaknesses (Rom. 8:26). Prayer traditionally has been understood as communication, and so it is supposed to be two way. On the other hand we must acknowledge that God is not only Our Father in Heaven but also the King of Kings, and with the special treatment and reverence we give to a king we also express the same or Greater to God who is The King. Now there are times prayer can be made spontaneous and that is especially when we are in danger and need a quick answer. for example, while peter was drowning, he did not have time to to pray like this; " Our father who at in heaven...da da da!" He quickly put out a cry " Lord Help!...

Principles of Petition

There are three major categories of prayer as seen in 1 Tim 2:1-4. These major categories include petition/ supplication, intercession, and praise/ thanksgiving. Petition involves asking God for personal needs. Intercession concerns prayers that invoke God's blessings on behalf of others. Praise, of course, concerns the giving of our love to God in worship and adoration. Now to the principles of petition: as i draw them from the (change the world school of Prayer) Petition is Gods Gift. Mat. 6:9-11 Petition need not be complicated petition may be repeated petition should be offered in total honesty petition must not become our only form of prayer Would you take time to Pray today, a personal prayer! Thats right, a personal asking, and make it BIG because God is Honored in the Magnitude of our Asking. Blessings.

A GRAVE STONE

A grave stone in the heart of England carries a curious inscription: What I spent, I had; what I kept, I lost; what I gave, I have. Lessons on Stewardship, this begins our series on sblog posts on stewardship, and how we can begin movements of transformation through stewardship cultivation.
